Steve Robinson - Glass

For me the beauty and fascination of glass lies in the interplay with light, and the resulting illumination of the colour within. I love the ability to look into the glass and see miniature galaxies of bubbles, vibrant colour and texture - I guess I'm just a colour junkie! I work in kiln-formed glass, fusing layers of glass with enamel colours.

Much of my inspiration for the pieces I create comes from the natural world. I am originally from Scotland, and love the gorgeous marine colours and textures of the West Highland coastline.

I am now based in Pembrokeshire on the Welsh coast, where the landscape and history continue to fuel my creative imagination

Directions: From St Davids take the main A487 towards Haverfordwest. Just before the hamlet of Nine Wells turn left onto the road for Whitechurh. Broadlands is then on about 150 yards on the right hand side. ....see circle 6 on map
